76 American Nobel Prize winners endorse Barack Obama

That says a lot about! I would trust the 76 republicans more than Joe the plumber's endorsement whom seems to have hit the campaign trail for Senator McCain.

Lt Gen Robert G Gard: Why I Won't Vote for John McCain

http://lt-gen-robert-g-gard.dailykos.com/

As a lifelong military man, I too will be casting my vote for Barack Obama on Election Day. I deeply respect John McCain's service to our country. I admire his bravery as a prisoner of war, described by a fellow prisoner as similar to that demonstrated by hundreds of other U.S. prisoners in North Vietnam.
The fields of foreign and national security policy, however, are John McCain's disqualifying weaknesses, in my view. McCain has demonstrated clearly that he is a dedicated ideologue when it comes to foreign policy, unwilling to consider opinions or even credible evidence contrary to his preconceived notions.

McCain and Palin are more socialists than Obama

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/27397938/

And here is an exchange between McCain and a voter.

Young woman: Are we getting closer and closer to, like, socialism and stuff?. . .

McCain: Here’s what I really believe: That when you reach a certain level of comfort, there’s nothing wrong with paying somewhat more.

Ronald Reagan makes a case for Obama

Spreading the wealth is capitalism

And no one wants to talk about this. Instead everyone is narrowly focusses on just Obama's comments. Someone please ask John McCain on whether he disagrees with John Adams...

McCain adviser votes for Obama

http://blogs.tnr.com/tnr/blogs/the_plank/archive/2008/10/24/reagan-appointee-and-recent-mccain-adviser-charles-fried-supports-obama.aspx
Reagan Appointee and (Recent) McCain Adviser Charles Fried Supports Obama
Charles Fried, a professor at Harvard Law School, has long been one of the most important conservative thinkers in the United States. Under President Reagan, he served, with great distinction, as Solicitor General of the United States. Since then, he has been prominently associated with several Republican leaders and candidates, most recently John McCain, for whom he expressed his enthusiastic support in January.
This week, Fried announced that he has voted for Obama-Biden by absentee ballot. In his letter to Trevor Potter, the General Counsel to the McCain-Palin campaign, he asked that his name be removed from the several campaign-related committees on which he serves. In that letter, he said that chief among the reasons for his decision "is the choice of Sarah Palin at a time of deep national crisis."
Fried is exceptionally thoughtful and principled; his vote for Obama is especially noteworthy.

A Vote For John McCain Is A Wasted Vote

I am not the one saying it. Third party candidate Bob barr says so!

http://foolocracy.com/2008/10/barr-a-vote-for-john-mccain-is-a-wasted-vote/

It is in the family blood!

His brother Joe McCain calls 911 to complain about traffic. What is pathetic about it is that he wants to know how come traffic on the opposite direction is flowing smoothly. Completely retarded

Hockey mom on buying spree. Needs $150,000 in clothes

But it also seems they might have violated public financing laws
http://www.opednews.com/articles/McCain-Campaign-Violated-M-by-Steven-Leser-081023-770.html

On the other hand, like somebody suggested in reddit.com, Fox news didn't make much of the news about $150,000 expenditure for Palin's clothes. Whereas $400 haircut by John Edwards who spent his own money was big news!

RNC shells out $150K for Palin fashion

I guess it would be alright because rich people can do whatever they want irrespective of the economy!

I also think Miss. South Carolina needs these to promote a better image despite her falling approval rating.

Oh God! Don't tell me Mayor of Wasilla don't have real responsiilities

Please don't elect someone who could not even speak coherantly

Maybe he is the genius that only 1% of the Americans would understand and vote for hime!

Oops! Palin better find a lawyer

Associated Press details her misuse of state funds in detail. What is pathetic is her attempt to re-define the expenses after she has been chose an VP my McCain. Good luck and I hope and pray that you are found guilty.

Apprently, there are some it seems though the reasons are beyond me. Have they seen the hate spewing out of Republicans/Conservatives? if even after seeing all that they would like to vote for McCain, I would like to understand what they are thinking.

Colin Powell doesn't like the McCain he sees on the campaign trail

Lets not forget that he is a prominent republican first. He also served as secretary of state until recently under President Bush. He is one of the key players in the leading up to the Iraq War. His endorsement goes a long way and it is a great loss for McCain in his bid to the White House

Don't let him screw up the country

McCain had nothing else to say other than "I screwed up!" for his lies to Letterman about missing his show

Someone saved me some work by listing news paper endorsements. McCain is a clear loser from what I can tell!

Also, the financial times endorsement (at http://www.ft.com/cms/s/0/1d0b127c-a380-11dd-942c-000077b07658.html)

Also the pensacola news journal endorsement http://www.pnj.com/article/99999999/NEWS07/810260319/1020

The Economist endorseent here

Here is Obama campaign's page listing the endorsements.

Miami herald's endorsement goes to Obama!

http://www.miamiherald.com/opinion/editorials/story/730751.html
In other elections, voters have complained of having to make a choice between two bad candidates. That is not the case this time. The nation is fortunate to have good candidates and a clear choice. Sen. Obama represents the best chance for America to make a clean break with the culture wars and failed policies of the past, and begin to restore the hope and promise of America as the world's greatest democracy

Another loss for McCain - Daily news endorsement

Daily news endorses Obama. I think I am going to be busy over the next couple of days breaking bad news for McCain.

And McCain wants to give more tax relief for them

Study says most corporations pay no U.S. income taxes
Excerpts:
The Government Accountability Office said 72 percent of all foreign corporations and about 57 percent of U.S. companies doing business in the United States paid no federal income taxes for at least one year between 1998 and 2005.

Corporations can afford big time accountants to work on their side. Not your average joe six-pack...

Palin's link with domestic terrorists

Republicans started it! Their strategy of guilt by association comes home to roost!

Why isn't republican's responding to Palin's connection to AIP? Watch CNN's piece on this one and spread the message

Another Conservative's endorsement for Obama

More at http://www.thedailybeast.com/blogs-and-stories/2008-10-14/sorry-dad-i-was-fired

BTW, I am appalled by the National Review's response to Chris Buckley's endorsement of Obama. This has confirmed my long held belief that conservatives are supposed to hold the party line or stick to their ideologies no matter what the truth or situation is. Aren't people supposed to think for themselves and act based on what they think is in their best interest or country's interest?

Agreed, it was Chris who submitted the resignation. But I would have expected a neutral or unbiased media outlet to not accept his based on his personal political views. Is U.S.A getting more polarized and getting divided? Sure it looks like it to me.

On a minor note, folks who are supposed to be "Pro-Life" called him/his colleagues names and seems to have said that their mothor should have aborted him/her!!! All I can say is, Wow!

How campaign sows fear and play the racist card

Documented here at http://mediamatters.org/items/200810130009

BTW, does Sean Hannity live in a parallel universe?

McCain's ACORN link

Republicans want to talk about Obama's links so much that they forget what their candidate's role with them are. Given that they have attached Obama for serving on the board of a non-profit where Bill Ayers also served, the "Guilt by association" now applies to Mr.John McCain.

More at http://www.politico.com/blogs/bensmith/1008/Acorn_pushes_back_hugs_McCain.html?showall

Fire the Campaign or lose election

Bill Kristol is a very prominent conservative pundit everyone knows about. He also appears very often in fox noise channel which should give lot of credibility to his importance in conservative circles.

He has just called for firing of McCain's campaign staff in his Op-Ed at http://www.nytimes.com/2008/10/13/opinion/13kristol.html?ref=opinion

Excerpts
"He has nothing to lose. His campaign is totally overmatched by Obama’s. The Obama team is well organized, flush with resources, and the candidate and the campaign are in sync. The McCain campaign, once merely problematic, is now close to being out-and-out dysfunctional. Its combination of strategic incoherence and operational incompetence has become toxic. If the race continues over the next three weeks to be a conventional one, McCain is doomed."

McCain Supporter: "Obama is an Arab"

John McCain's response "No Maam. He is a decent family man and citizen that I happen to have disagreements with.". Watch it!

If only he shows this quality everytime, he would be leading the polls. But he is not and which is why I don't think he will make it to the White House.

The "reformer" found abusing her powers

Palin Abused Authority
This is the Republican VP candidate that we are talking about. Those are the folks who talk about integrity, Morals etc. What can I expect from them?

Nothing. They will just call it partisan politics and simply move on and continue to do what they do best. If a democrat did this, they would be all over him

Republicans against McCain

http://apps.facebook.com/causes/63748?fb_page_id=6028633577&m=de0957a2

John McCain is a RiNO (Republican in Name Only) and a Liberal. If we wanted that, we'd vote for Clinton. We believe in sticking to our good principles, not abandoning them for yet another worst-case party leader and representative. John McCain also is a master of flip-flopping, a John Kerry-scale waffler. He has reversed his positions, in order to run for president, on abortion, gun control, taxes, and gay marriage.

A Conservative Newspaper for Obama

http://www.recordnet.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080928/A_OPINION01/809280301/-1/A_OPINION

The reasoning as summarized by http://www.samefacts.com/archives/_/2008/09/a_conservative_newspaper_for_obama.php, "Obama will change our politics and John McCain won't. Obama can inspire and McCain can't. McCain's most troubling trait is his judgment, as indicated by his choice of Sarah Palin. "The nation cannot go through four more years of literally and figuratively shooting now and asking questions later." Republican charges that Obama is an elitist and an empty suit are risible."

I couldn't agree more.
